Indoor condition (picture on the left) without being exposed to sun light.  Only two normal colors (black and purple) are visible even though five colors are screen printed totally.  Picture on the right shows the rest of the colors under sun light.  T-shirt with Photochromic (color changing) screen print is a very good idea for outdoor events.

Color changing technology by PhotoChromic inks has been around the custom screen print and advertising industries for over a decade.  The reason that this technology is still very popular among advertisers in custom screen print industry is the magical transformation of colors.  This series of PhotoChromic colors come in basic colors such as red, blue, yellow, green and purple.  When these colors are indoor and not exposed to ultraviolet light, they are almost colorless.  However, when they are exposed to ultraviolet light (including sunlight) they will gradually turn into their own colors.  The stronger light and longer expose duration, the higher the intensity of the colors.  And of course there are limits as everything else, the colors will not increase their intensity after they reach their limits.  PhotoChromic inks work the best with white t-shirts.  However they also work with light color t-shirts such as natural.  You would also want to take advantage of the magical color change by screen printing only a black and white image for the indoor image and leaves all the colors as PhotoChromic colors so they will only appear outdoor.  In this way you optimize the color transformation between a black and white image and a full color image. We recommend PhotoChromic’s color changing technology for all outdoor events on t-shirts, sweatshirts and sportshirts.  Imagine when your guests witness the magical color change.  For sure that’s going to leave a long impression to them.

Do you know that you can add a layer of gel on top of your screen print decoration?  The result is amazing!  You will have a layer of 3-D looking coating on top of your custom t-shirt logo.  This effect works specially well with line art and outlines since lines would enhance the quality of 3-D effect. How many favorite colors do you have?  At least three if you are a koi fan.  Red, black and white are the three basic yet the most important colors in nishikigoi.  The three most popular koi types, Kohaku, Sanke and Showa are perfect examples.  Kohaku (red pattern on white ground), Sanke (red & black spot pattern on white ground) and Showa (red and black stripe pattern on white ground or red and white pattern on black ground) together are so called Gosanke.  Value in a koi depends on it’s body conformation, color completion and pattern.  Because of my hobby in koi keeping, I was able to work with some local reputable koi dealers on their custom company t-shirts.  Below are some samples of them.  All prints were done in silk screen printing.  Color separations were either manually done in channels or by Simulated Process.  Production were done with M&R automatic 14-color press.

T shirts can provide a lasting impression on your life and those around you. Through simple illustrations and slogans they immediately show your current feelings or opinions.

Vintage t shirts will bring up situations from the long ago past. They can be anything from funny to rude and offensive, to sayings, to your favorite rock band of yore, to baby tees. And don’t forget putting a t shirt on your dog. Ugh.

In my own experience I have been a cancer survivor for 5 1/2 years. In my first summer my struggle inspired my sister-in-law to get active in the Tacoma, Washington Relay For Life program of the American Cancer Society. Every spring they host a weekend walk and fund raiser. A large part of that walk is the Survivor’s walk celebrating all those people currently battling cancer and those who are cancer free.

All the survivors walking in that event are given purple t shirts with the Relay For Life logo on the front. On the back is the saying: I Am… Living Breathing Inspiration. I love wearing my t shirt with that saying on it both for my own feelings and for the inspiration of those around me.

Another situation involved a camping/hiking trip my partner and I took several years ago in the Columbia River gorge near The Dalles, Oregon.
